17826 in the QuestMasters Museum Collection. This cart was restored with the Preparation for Overseas
Movement (POM) code Grey/Buff/Grey 42251, Build-Up Priority Table List A, for I Company, 506th Parachute
Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.
The C-47A 43-15137 in the QuestMasters Museum collection dropped I/506 as Chalk 76 into Holland for
Operation Market Garden on September 17th 1944.

These wheels were obtained for the restoration of this Hand Cart. They have been repainted after the war and the 4.00 x 12
tires are not original.

The paint used for the restoration of this Hand Cart is made by TM9 Ordnance Products LLC, Synthetic Lusterless Enamel,
Olive Drab Shade #8.

PRIOR TO RESTORATION:
Restored 5/16"-24 x 1" slotted truss head bolts with lock washers and castle nuts, above left photo.
Each bolt on this hand cart was sand blasted and finished in parkerized "raven" finish and left unpainted during restoration to
simulate the original assembly in the John Wood Mfg Company.
