Heer (Army) Soldat (Private) Artillerie
Europe 1944/1945
This German WWII Herringbone Twill (HBT) Model 1943 tunic was introduced in the middle of WWII as a lighter
version of the wool tunic. This example has shoulder boards with the Waffenfarbe of red for Artillerie (Artillery). The
collar tabs are the late-war style without a specific color that would match the shoulder boards. The breast eagle is a
mid-war bevo style. The interior makers markings have been washed-out due to high use and wear.
