GPW Grill Marker Lights, above photo.
These marker lights are marked with a small "F" on the face of lamp and a small "F" on the top of the body. These lights
were subcontracted to YANKEE and are marked as such on the inside. The marker light with the short cord is for the
drivers side and the longer cord for the passenger side. The "Y" shaped bakelite connector is used to connect both lights
together behind the grill.
Air Cleaner Hose, above left photo.
This hose connected the Air Cleaner to the Engine Crossover Tube.
Fuel Filter, above right photo.
The fuel filter was mounted on the passenger side of the engine compartment from the start of GPW production through
May 1945. The cast iron top is cast with a large raised script "F".
The bowl, shown above right, was originally Cadmium or Zinc plated with a silk screened AC logo and servicing information.

KingBee Side View Mirror, left photo.
The GPW side view was made by the KingBee Mfg Co. There were two types of 5" mirror produced. The style shown above
has a script "F" at the top with one rivet and one screw in the center with a smoked glass face.
Gear Shift and Transfer Case Boots, above right photo.
From the start of GPW production through August 1942 rubber shift boots were used. From September 1942 through the
end of GPW production leather shift boots were supplied during manufacture due to rubber shortage changes. GPW 69289
will be restored with rubber shift boots to remain consistent with other rubber parts still being used on this vehicle during
the late summer rubber phase out period.
Sheller Steering Wheel, left photo.
The solid molded green hard rubber steering wheel made by Sheller was used in GPW production from June 1942 through
November 1942. The rear of this steering wheel is marked SHELLER with the number 8.
Door Strap Eyebolt, above right photo.
The door strap eyebolt is marked with a large raised script "F". When mounted on the body the eye should be positioned
horizontally.
Oakes Model 613300 Oil Bath Air Cleaner, left photo.
This type of air cleaner was used from March 1942 through the end of GPW production.

These brackets will be painted olive drab when attached to the body during restoration.

This style of blackout or main light switch was used from the start of GPW production through June 1944.

This breaker was mounted on the rear of the blackout driving light switch.
Keyed Ignition Switch, left photo.
The keyed ignition switch was used from the start of GPW production through January 1943. The GPW ignition switch is
easily recognizable by the raised ridges on the side of the bezel.
Panel Light Switch, right photo.
This GPW was produced in September 1942 and did not have a Black Out Driving Light or Switch. This fender mounted
light was not factory introduced until October 1942 starting with contract W-374-ORD-2862.
GPW Drivers Seat, above left photo.
This seat is marked with a large script "F" on the rear of the seat back, above right photo.
From the start of GPW production through September 1942 the seat bottom had a small fuel tank hole to support the small
neck filler on the fuel tank. The seat bottom on this seat has been modified to accommodate a larger post-war fuel tank.
This will be corrected during restoration.

This cap was made by "AC" and is marked with a small script "F".
Radio Filterette Type JX17, above left and right photo.
The radio filterette was mounted under the passenger side of the instrument panel and was used to filter radio "noise" that
was produced by the vehicle's electrical system. The Filter Type JX17, Ford part number GPW-18960 was manufactured by
The Sprague Spec. Company.
Ford GPW 69289 Body -  September 30th 1942
GPW 69289 Body, above two photos.
The body for GPW 69289, shown above, has been crushed glass blasted to remove all of the oxidation and
then painted in red oxide primer. The rear body had been previously removed and rear floor was not able to
be salvaged. The body is shown prior to replacement of body panels and the welding of unnecessary holes
made during years of post-war farm use.
The center of the transmission hump is marked GPW with a scrip "F", as seen in the right photo.
Ford produced their own bodies for the GPW prior to switching to the ACM produced body in 1943.
